How would you characterize the influence of your YWW experience in your life?
I can’t quantify how influential YWW was – it was really the first space I felt like I belonged in in my life. When I think about the best advice I’ve ever gotten, the most free I’ve ever felt, and people I felt the most connected to – I always come back in my mind to YWW. It’s my favorite place I’ve ever been.
What’s the best advice you can give a Young Writer (in general or in your specific genre)?
Write. You’re not a writer if you’re not writing.
What do you find yourself most often reading or listening to lately and why?
I haven’t read a book in years, which is depressing: I am mostly a magazine guy these days and slam through about 6 different subscriptions or more a month. As far as listening, I invested in a Sonos system last year and it’s the greatest thing of all time (want a referral code? just ask!) I’m loving the Beck album, Morning Phase.
